Our History
Ohio Fire Shield, Ltd was formed in 1988 as a manufacturer representative and distributor of wholesale fire retardants to other fire equipment distributors. We added sorbent products to our product lines in 1992 to help absorb liquids and oils for easy clean up and, in 1996, we increased our product range to include oil containment and clean up products for larger clients. These products included:
Microbes, otherwise known as oil-eaters
Oil containment items, such as pallets and berms
Safety storage cabinets
Electrical cleaners/degreasers
Oil absorbers, such as bags, pillows and booms
